108 Sun Salutations for the Spring Equinox & Yoga Nidra

  • Tiny Buddha Yoga: CAMPUS 338 1/2 South State Street Ann Arbor, MI, 48104 United States (map)

Let’s Celebrate The Spring Equinox with 108 Sun Salutations & Yoga Nidra

During the equinox, the day and night are equal lengths. The Spring Equinox brings Springtime, but it also represents a time of new beginnings or a rebirth.

108 Sun Salutations is an intense workout, it might sound daunting the first time, but you can do this! This is guaranteed to be a highly satisfying and transformative experience.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation that mimics deep sleep. You’ll come out of it like you’ve just come out of a deep and satisfying hibernation  . It’s practiced lying down with a teacher guiding the session. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.

Join Risa, in this celebration of rebirth, by detoxifying the body with the yoga ritual of 108 Sun Salutations, and then stick around for an hour of Yoga Nidra.
